SUBLIME “Until the Sun Explodes” 

Man you just can’t match the feeling. Or quite describe it either. I am still in complete awe of what is happening here. SUBLIME is one of the greatest gifts humanity has to offer. 

‘68 “ALWAYS LOVE” 

The best single I have heard this year, and last year too. I still remember asking people if anybody had heard this new band called SIXTY-EIGHT. I was so excited when I first came across these guys it was like 68 Christmas’s worth of presents all at once. Now they’re going on their last tour and I’m still pretending it’s not true. Thank you guys for everything.

MONOLORD “You Bastard” 

This is as MONOLORD as it fucking gets. Slow riffs that leave you with no chance to breathe in between. It crushes you to pieces and leaves you alive just long enough to hear the end of the song. The legend is real and it will be told for the rest of human history. One LORD to rule them all.

GREAT FALLS “A Story Eaten Alive” 

This is well planned violence. Well timed too. GF takes you to a place only they can take you to. Exactly where you need to be. I just realized my fist was clenched this whole time. Some bands make it look easy. Some bands lay their blood and guts out in front of you to make sure you know there’s nothing easy about it. I think I got red on me. 

THE FREQS “John Travolta” 

The thunder, the lightning, and all of the rain the sky. This is real rock and roll power. Gods bow before John Travolta. The song. Very few underground bands can operate at this frequency. Jet engines have trouble keeping up. THE FREQS are clearly here to take over. Believe me there is nothing you can do to stop them. 

ROTTEN LUCK “Trenches” 

I can’t decide if this is more hardcore or more thrash metal. I don’t really care. This shit is fucking hefty. Award winning pumpkin heavy. It peeled the paint off of my walls and I only use that premium Sherwin Williams Emerald paint.
