One for English people and one for people who speak English. MCLUSKY WEIRD transcends all culture, time, and space. Just imagine what Mclusky (US) on Netflix would be like. There could never be two. Performances like this are the reason I still believe in the value of new music.

Take me back to the earliest of the 2000s. This is like everything I grew up on rolled into one completely edible ball of different colored play doh. I once was that ball of play doh. We all were. I still might be. I’m a firm believer that shoe gaze parts are only good if they lead to something. GROMMET lead me right to everything I was looking for.

These guys make some of the beautiful music I have ever heard in my life. Music you can celebrate to. Cheer to. Smile to. Clap to. Dance to. Kiss to. Laugh to. This is the song of this moment. Yesterday. Tomorrow. And the day after. For many days to come. I’ve made great memories listening to COLD WAR KIDS as a young man and I will do the same as an old man.
